Ed had an odd sense of style way back then. He now regrets ever wearing things like this, but in some way, that fact that he did encouraged me to break out of my shell a little further and sooner than I otherwise might have. He was also the first to try to convince me that I'm not as fat and ugly as I sometimes perceive myself, which is something I often need convincing of.
