Convergence the Fifth was held April 1 through 5, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana. An annual gathering of net.goths, it has grown ever larger and more beloved by its attendees. C5 was no exception. A Friday night concert of local bands was held at Jimmy's Music Club. Saturday featured well-known goth and industrial bands at the House of Blues. Sunday night was a grand masked ball, The Rougaroux's Ball, also at the House of Blues. The Bienville House Hotel was the official temporary haven for attendees, and the Marriott down the street held the extensive overflow. Goths were also scattered at various other hotels and boarding establishments throughout the French Quarter. Sunday afternoon featured a very special event: the wedding of two net.goths, Timmie and Juliann.

I'm still upgrading this site...right now I'm putting all of the photos on caption pages with nav through the rolls. Only the first roll is done right now, but the rest should be up this weekend. For the plain photos, just use your browser's back button to return here. For the time being, though, the names of the people in photos are incorporated into many of the image filenames, so that may help.
I have double prints available again, so if you want copies of anything besides wedding photos (which are going straight to Juliann), please email me your snail-mail addy and describe which photo(s) you want. Also, if you see a "who" in the filename and you know the name of the person it refers to, please tell me!
