ENTRY 1: THE FIGHT
------------------

The team received a telegraph from friend and colleague Jackson Elias, stating
that he had information about a famous archaeological expedition (the Carlyle
Expedition) and requesting a meeting when he returned to New York from
Shanghai,
where the telegraph originated. The team researched the Carlyle Expedition and
aftermath some, and then waited for Jackson to make contact.

He did so, on 15 January, 1925. He requested a meeting in Room 14 of the
Chelsea Hotel (which is in Harlem) at 8:00pm. He sounded agitated on the phone.
Everyone went to the hotel room at the appropriate time, and found the door locked.
Katya was kind enough to offer her skills at picking the lock, and immediately upon
opening the door, she and Elizabeth were attacked by two very large, very fast
colored men in some sort of ceremonial dress. The men had machettis, and
quickly disposed of Elizabeth as an opponent. Adrian helped apply pressure to her
wound, and Katya, Jonathan, and Jim pursued and killed the three tribesmen that were
in the room. There were many gunshots, and police were alerted by the hotel
clerk and later Beatrice. Beatrice and Katya thought it best to leave before
the police arrived, and Katya ransacked the hotel room on her way out.

By this time, the party realized that their friend Jackson was lying very
messily torn open on the bed of the hotel room. And the police showed up.
