Affiliation - Heaven:Beauty is the highest
principle. Justice is a form of beauty. Lesser beings
should respect their betters.

made to violate it.)
Honest: Purity does not lie.
Honorable: Ze always lives by a typical knight's
code of honor.
Respects Chains of Command: Ze will never attempt
to persuade any creature from disobeying or subverting a
chain of command.
Visible: Acts of extreme beauty or great corruption
leave a visible mark on Purity.
Conspicuous: Ze appears to humans as their most
relevant hero, and hence it is difficult for zir to avoid
attracting attention. (Hey, everyone, it's Siddhartha!!)
Dependent Pets: (Family flaw) Two doves, Bors and
Percival.
Untalented Imperator: (Family flaw) Must take
the appropriate challenge; cannot resist a challenge of arms.

Background
|
Purity's Viscount has never been a human. Through zir
experiences as the "Knight" archetype, however, ze has
learned much about human weakness, beauty, and
motivation. Ze cares deeply about humanity, and endeavors
to help them make the right choices. When Azrael
approached zir about becoming a Noble, Sanctitas was
thrilled--finally, a chance to interact with the mortals
more directly.
In the seven years since that time, ze has worked
tirelessly and constantly. Both aggressive and defensive,
ze splits zir time between protection and action by
example. Innocents are favorite charges (religious leaders
and children especially), and the weak pose enjoyable
challenges (particularly those with great power in the
mortal world). Much of zir time is spent on Earth,
pursuing opportunities.
Zir appearance varies depending on the nature of the
viewer. Nobles, Chancel inhabitants, and humans who are
fully aware of Mythic Earth see zir true form: tall, pale,
of indeterminate gender, and heartbreakingly beautiful. A
nimbus of light is not contained by zir skin, and zir
voice sounds like crystal. Zir eyes are cold and pure
silver, without pupils or irises--zir gaze causes aware
mortals to feel touched by something greater.
Unaware mortals and other creatures perceive Sanctitas in
the instantiation of the archetype most natural to
them. Though zir more obviously non-human characteristics
are not directly perceived in these forms, mortals
typically view Sanctitas as more "there" or "brighter"
than other humans. Mythic-sensitive mortals who are not
fully aware frequently perceive some portion of zir true
appearance, and ze has been mistaken for an Angel several
times.
Ze has acquired a bit of a reputation among more socially
able Nobles, and upon meeting zir it is not hard to
understand why. Though deeply caring and patient with
human flaws, ze feels that Nobles should be above such
weakness. Ze feels that Nobles are beyond the scope of zir
salvation, and has been known to consider evil and
malevolent those creatures who fail to live up to zir
exacting standards. Honest and Honorable to a fault, ze is
generally not high on the list of invitees to "in"
parties. Then again, given zir complete dissociation from
the more... hedonistic... side of Noble life, ze probably
would rather not attend anyway. Those who are truly close
to Sanctitas, however, know zir to have a keep
appreciation for beauty in most forms, and a sense of
humor not rivaled often.
Even if ze does tend to show up at the most ironic of
times, and refuses to break any of the rules, even just a
little.
